Sarah Schwarz
Biography

Sarah Schwarz is an associate in Weil’s Technology & IP Transactions practice and is based in New York. Sarah participates in advising Firm clients in a variety of matters relating to the licensing, acquisition, development, sale, use and commercial exploitation of intellectual property and technology. She also participates in advising clients regarding privacy and data security issues in the context of corporate transactions.
Sarah has been part of the teams advising:
- Cobepa S.A. in its acquisition of Eagle Fire and its investment in SAX
- Glooko Inc. in its acquisition of Monarch Medical Technologies, LLC
- Halozyme Therapeutics in its $900 million acquisition of Elektrofi
- ITE Management, L.P. in a strategic minority investment from funds managed by Blackstone Credit & Insurance
- L’Oréal in its acquisition of Color Wow
- Sanofi in its $9.5 billion acquisition of Blueprint Medicines
- TruArc Partners in the sale of Ideal Tridon Group to Nautic Partners
Sarah received her J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where she was Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from The University of Pennsylvania.
