Biography
Nicolas Nöller is an Associate in the Restructuring department of the Frankfurt office. His practice focuses on multinational restructurings as well as insolvency proceedings. He advises companies, management and investors in distressed and crisis situations as well as parties involved in insolvency litigation.
Since joining Weil, Nicolas's experience includes advising:
- First Brands Group on its $1.1 billion DIP financing and Chapter 11 restructuring
- Superior Industries Group, a leading manufacturer of aluminum wheels, on its European transformation
- insolvency administrator of a Luxembourg bond issuer in obtaining a judgment ordering that a claim in the amount of €900 million against now insolvent Wirecard AG
Nicolas studied law and economics at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden and at City University of London (law degree 2018; Master of Arts in Business 2018). Prior to joining Weil, Nicolas' professional stations include working for the restructuring and insolvency department of a leading German law firm. He was admitted to practice in Germany in 2023.
Nicolas is fluent in German and English.
