Milan is active in various pro bono matters, including assisting D.C. residents with housing violations and case intake for the Innocence Project.
Milan earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where he was a clinic student in UVA’s Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. There, he worked on two merits cases before the Supreme Court, as well as amicus briefs and petitions for certiorari. He also served on the Article Review Board for the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. He obtained a B.S., magna cum laude, in Bioengineering from Clemson University. Milan also holds a Master of Engineering from Clemson University. During that time, he served as a fellow of the South Carolina Medical Device Alliance, a research partnership between Clemson University and the South Carolina Research Authority.
