Kyle M. Ferrier

Kyle M. Ferrier is an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s Miami office.

Kyle received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Prior to joining Weil, Kyle was an associate at another international law firm where he represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, sponsors, lenders, bondholders, acquirors, and other key stakeholders in U.S. and cross-border corporate restructurings.

Before beginning his legal career, Kyle served as an officer in the U.S. Army and now focuses his pro bono practice on representing veterans navigating legal challenges related to benefits, discharge upgrades, and other service-connected matters.

  • Steward Health Care System LLC, the largest private, physician-owned for-profit healthcare network in the United States with over $8 billion in debt obligations ($7 billion of which is in long-term lease commitments), in its chapter 11 cases.
  • DRF Logistics, LLC and DRF, LLC, Pitney Bowes’ global ecommerce segment, which provides domestic ecommerce parcel services, including delivery and returns, as well as cross-border logistics, in connection with their chapter 11 cases.
