Hillel N. Jacobson
Biography
Hillel Jacobson is a partner in Weil’s Tax Department and is based in New York. Hillel advises U.S. and non-U.S. clients on partnership tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, international tax matters, restructurings, matters relating to private equity funds, hedge funds and their investors and private foundation tax matters.
Prior to joining Weil, Hillel was a partner at another international law firm.
Hillel is recognized as a leading lawyer for Tax in New York by Chambers USA, where clients note “he is an impressive lawyer” and “very analytical…and gives clear answers and good explanations.” He was also named to the inaugural Lawdragon “Leading Global Tax Lawyers” list.
Hillel received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and his B.A. from Beth Medrash Govoha.
