Cheyenne Smith
Biography
Cheyenne Smith is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Los Angeles. Cheyenne represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other general corporate matters.
Cheyenne received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she served as Co-Chair of the Black Law Students Association, Symposium Editor of the UCLA Law Review, and a member of the UCLA Law Dean’s Advisory Council. She was named a UCLA Law Distinguished Scholar and is an alumna of the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity Law Fellowship Program.
Prior to law school, Cheyenne received her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Tulane University, with minors in Philosophy and Spanish. While at Tulane, she was a Posse Foundation Scholar and received a Congressional Certificate of Achievement for Community Involvement and Education.
