Weil has been named a finalist for four honors at Global Restructuring Review’s GRR Awards 2026.

The Firm is shortlisted for:

• “Chapter 11 Firm of the Year” for advising on major bankruptcies, including First Brands Group, Steward Health Care System and TPI Composites, Inc.
• “GRR Pioneering Spirit Award” for designing the innovative “Stapled Exchange” method for Fossil Group to restructure $150 million in debt
• “Sovereign Debt Restructuring of the Year” for advising an ad hoc committee of Ethiopia’s bondholders in connection with Ethiopia’s sovereign debt restructuring
• “Future Leader Award”: Restructuring associate Dr. Lydia Tsioli

The awards recognize “the firms, individuals, innovations and achievements that impacted the world of cross-border restructuring and insolvency over the last 12 months.”
