Zachary Hunt
Zach received his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where he served as Senior Articles Editor of the Cornell Law Review and received the Rosenbloom Prize for distinguished work in law and finance. While in law school, Zach was the winner of the American Bar Association’s 2024 Harvey Saferstein Student Essay Contest and a finalist in the American Bar Association’s 2023 Mendes Hershman Student Writing Competition.
Prior to joining Weil, Zach was an associate at another international law firm where he represented debtors, creditors, purchasers, and other interested parties in chapter 11 bankruptcies, international insolvency proceedings, out-of-court workouts, and related transactions.

Debtor/Company-Side Experience:
- Nicklaus Companies LLC and certain of its subsidiaries in voluntary chapter 11 proceedings, including securing DIP financing, maintaining operational continuity, resolving long-term funded indebtedness and litigation exposures, and preserving the company’s businesses and the Jack Nicklaus brand legacy.
- DRF Logistics, LLC and DRF, LLC, Pitney Bowes’ global ecommerce segment, which provides domestic ecommerce parcel services, including delivery and returns, as well as cross-border logistics, in connection with their chapter 11 cases.
