Naveed also assists in representing major corporations and financial institutions navigating litigation risk-related mergers, acquisitions, and other complex transactions.
Naveed maintains an active and wide-ranging pro bono practice with experience in immigration and asylum proceedings, criminal justice matters, civil rights and constitutional law, and international human rights law.
Prior to joining Weil, Naveed worked at another international law firm in New York.
Naveed received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Global Law Scholar and served as an Articles Editor for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. He holds an MPhil in International Development from University of Cambridge and a B.A., magna cum laude, in International Relations from Emory University.
