Morgan Schusterman is counsel in Weil’s New York office, where she specializes in sports, media, and entertainment representations as a member of the firm’s leading Sports practice. Morgan advises leagues, teams, investors, and media companies on high-stakes disputes, arbitrations, investigations, governance, and non-contentious commercial matters. Morgan also represents public companies and boards of directors in sensitive internal investigations and commercial disputes.

Previously, Morgan served as Associate Vice President and Senior Associate Counsel at the National Basketball Association, where she represented the league and teams on a wide range of high-profile matters concerning league rules, including salary cap circumvention, tampering, free agency timing, game protests, trade demands, conduct and statements detrimental, player health and participation, game integrity, expansion, name image likeness (NIL), and institutional investment. She also represented the NBA in connection with collective bargaining and the league’s national broadcast deals.

Prior to joining the NBA, Morgan worked at another global law firm.

Morgan received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude with honors, from New York University.
