Jacob Maiman Stadtmauer is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, where he focuses on high-stakes business disputes.

Prior to joining Weil, Jacob practiced at a litigation boutique in New York City, where he handled a range of commercial litigation matters, including class actions and complex business disputes in federal and state court.

He maintains an active pro bono practice, including appellate advocacy on behalf of disabled veterans through the Veterans Consortium.

Jacob received his J.D., with Harlan Fiske Stone Honors, from Columbia Law School, where he served as a Staff Editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review and as a judicial extern to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He earned his B.A., cum laude, in Philosophy and Government from Georgetown University.
