Gabriella Nordlund is an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office.
Representative Experience
Creditor/Acquiror/Other Experience:- Decarbonization Partners, a Blackrock affiliated fund, and Just Climate, as prepetition secured lenders in the chapter 11 cases of Ascend Elements, Inc. and successful purchasers of certain of Ascend’s assets through a joint chapter 11 bid with Kinterra Capital.
- Foundever Group on its holistic recapitalization, including a $225 million equity investment by existing majority shareholders and a term loan exchange that reduced total debt by nearly $900 million.
Gabriella received her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she served as Lead Articles Editor for the Washington and Lee Law Review, and her B.A. in Economics, from Emory University.
Prior to joining Weil, Gabriella served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Laura T. Beyer of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
