David Jackson
David Jackson is counsel in Weil’s Structured Finance & Derivatives practice and is based in New York. David participates in advising issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, administrative agents, placement agents and investors in all aspects of secured loan financings and 144A offerings.

David has assisted in structuring secured loans and asset-backed bond offerings in a broad range of contexts, including whole-business securitizations, debtor-in-possession financings and acquisition financings. He has widespread experience across a diverse range of asset classes, including auto loans and leases, U.S. and foreign accounts receivable, franchise royalties, residential and commercial mortgages, credit card receivables, consumer loans, marketplace and peer-to-peer loans, commercial real estate leases, high-yield bonds and corporate loans.

David received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He received his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
