Mr. Silberberg has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Tax Section and as a co-chair of its Committees on Investment Funds, Pass-Through Entities, and Tax Accounting. He is a frequent lecturer and panelist on federal income tax matters.
Mr. Silberberg is consistently recognized as a leading Tax lawyer by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers and is recognized as a “Bankruptcy Tax Specialist” by Turnarounds & Workouts magazine. Mr. Silberberg has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of HIAS, a global nonprofit that protects refugees.
Mr. Silberberg received his J.D. and LL.M in taxation from New York University School of Law and his B.A. from Northwestern University.
