Banking & Finance partner Benton Lewis, Banking & Finance associate Samantha Anne Patel and U.S. Private Equity Co-Head Chris Machera were named recipients of the 2024 Law360 Distinguished Writing Award, as part of The Burton Awards for Legal Achievement, recognizing the 20 best articles by law firm attorneys published in the past year.

Their article, “The Rise of Private Credit & Its Impact on Acquisition Dynamics,” was published by Bloomberg Law in September.

Law360 is the lead sponsor of The Burton Awards, which are funded by the Burton Foundation, a non-profit, academic effort devoted to recognizing and rewarding excellence in the legal profession. The winners of the Law360 Distinguished Writing Awards were chosen from nominations submitted by the nation’s 1,000 largest law firms.
