Tony Herron
Tony is a Corporate associate in London. He advises, as part of a team, a number of leading private equity funds and major corporates on a wide range of domestic and cross-border acquisitions, disposals and restructurings, as well as portfolio companies on general corporate matters.

He has spent time on secondment to Vitruvian Partners.

Representative experience as part of a team, including prior to joining Weil, includes advising:

  • Sun European Partners on its sale of Adler & Allan to the private equity business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives
  • Advent International on its partnership with the founder of the Parfums de Marly and INITIO Parfums Privés niche fragrance brands
  • Bain Capital on the acquisition, together with Nextalia, of Deltatre
  • PAI Partners on its acquisition of HKA
  • Advent International on the carve-out sale of Tag (part of the Williams Lea Tag group) to Dentsu
  • Newlight Partners on its growth equity investment in Landways, the UK’s leading provider of integrated in-building digital and power infrastructure
  • Kantar (a portfolio company of Bain Capital) on the merger, in partnership with SilverTree Equity, of Kantar Xtel with StepUp
  • Soul Foods Group, which owns and manages global food and coffee franchises, on a minority equity investment by Centerbridge, OpCapita and Metric Capital
  • General Atlantic on its acquisition of an interest in Kiwi.com
  • Angstrom Sport, a specialist provider of US sports forecasting and data analytics, on its sale to Entain
  • Compass Partners on the sale of Rodenstock to Apax Partners
  • Charterhouse Capital Partners and Tunstall on the restructuring of the Tunstall Group

Prior to joining Weil, Tony worked at a leading Scottish law firm in their London office.
