Biography
Austin Peng is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Silicon Valley. Austin participates in the representation of public and private companies in a variety of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and divestitures.
Austin has been part of the teams advising:
- Getty Images Inc. in its acquisition of Motorsport Images
- GS Amp TopCo LLC (a portfolio company of Genstar Capital) in its acquisition of NEL Frequency Controls, Inc.
- Pacific Avenue Capital Partners in its acquisition and related financing of the filtration business of Sogefi SpA
Austin received his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he served as an Online Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy, and his B.A. from the University of Miami.
