Andrew Kourpanidis
Andrew Kourpanidis is counsel in the Banking & Finance group in London. His practice focuses on infrastructure and leveraged acquisition finance transactions and advising private equity sponsors, financial institutions and corporates on a variety of domestic and cross-border debt and corporate finance transactions.

Prior to joining Weil, Andrew was part of the leveraged finance practice of a magic circle law firm in London.  He has also spent time on secondment in the loan structuring and advisory team at Natwest. Andrew is fluent in English and Italian.

  • Basalt Infrastructure Partners’ Lenders on the financing of its take private and subsequent refinancing of Nobina, the largest public transport operator in the Nordics
  • APG/OMERS’ Lenders on the financing of its acquisition of Kenter, a European metering and medium-voltage infrastructure provider
