Ms. French has a diverse practice which focuses on private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, minority investments and public-to-private transactions, and mergers & acquisitions. Ms. French regularly represents some of the country's leading private equity firms.

- Representing Fifth Third Processing in its acquisition of NPC Group
- Representing Advent International in its going-private acquisition of retailer Charlotte Russe
- Representing Shoes for Crews in the sale of the company
- Representing THL Partners in its minority investment in Sterling Financial
- Representing Michael Foods in its sale to GS Capital Partners
- Representing Advent International in its acquisition of retailer Five Below
- Representing Bartlett Energy, Berkshire Partners and Summit Partners in the sale of Bartlett
- Representing Advent International and Bain in their acquisition of Worldpay
- Representing Advent International in their joint venture with Fifth Third Bank
Ms. French was recognized in Chambers USA - America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2005-2011 in the field of Private Equity.
Ms. French graduated from Hofstra University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1987) and from Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1990; Order of the Coif). Ms. French is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
