Doug McClellan is a Partner in the Litigation Department in the Houston office, where he concentrates on patent litigation. He has litigated patent and trade-secret cases nationwide over a broad range of technologies, including computer software and hardware, cardiac devices, wireless applications, semiconductors, and chemicals. He has represented clients such as Cisco, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Amazon.com, eBay, SAP, Intel, Adobe, and Samsung. He was recently recognized as an “IP Star” in Texas by Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars 2013 guide.

Mr. McClellan received his B.S. in chemical engineering, cum laude, from Texas A&M University. He received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Legal Research Board, Order of the Coif, and Texas Law Review (1998-99).

Mr. McClellan is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Western District of Wisconsin, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
