Biography
Emily is an associate in the Structured Finance and Derivatives team in London.
Emily advises a range of financial institutions, private equity sponsors and hedge funds on a broad range of structured finance and securitisation transactions across different asset classes including performing and non-performing portfolio financings, Consumer ABS, RMBS and credit card master trust securitisation programmes, CLOs, multi-jurisdictional trade receivables financings and esoteric asset classes.
Emily has also completed a one year secondment to the Structured Finance Legal team at Deutsche Bank and a five month secondment to Weil’s New York office.
Representative experience includes:
- Major financial institutions on numerous non-performing and performing loan portfolio financings of consumer and commercial debt in jurisdictions including the UK, Ireland and Spain
- Public and private securitisations including RMBS, credit card securitisations, point of sale receivables and CLOs; acting as both originator/borrower and arranger/lender counsel
- The first rated term securitisation of diamond inventory and related consignment sales proceeds
- Hertz on the securitisation of its rental car fleets in France, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Australia
