Yemi Adediran

Biography

Yemi Adediran is an associate in Weil’s Private Funds practice and is based in New York. Yemi participates in the representation of private investment fund sponsors in the formation, structuring and negotiation of their investment funds. Yemi also participates in the representation of sponsors and investors in connection with secondary transactions involving interests in private equity funds.

Yemi joined Weil as a summer associate in 2020.

Yemi received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he argued a tax case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit as a student in the Harvard Law School Tax Clinic and served on the boards of three student organizations. He received his BA, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University, where he was a recipient of the Peterfreund Prize for Philosophy. He is co-author of a paper, Strengthening the Power of Healthcare Insurers to Regulate Medical Device Risks, published in a collection on the regulation of medical devices by Cambridge University in 2022.
