Courtney S. Marcus, Managing Partner of Weil’s Dallas office and Co-Head of the Firm’s Banking & Finance practice, has been recognized by D CEO in its 2024 Dallas 500 publication as one of the region’s most powerful business leaders.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Courtney has received this honor.

“It’s been particularly exciting this last year to be involved in the growth and investment we’re making in new Weil talent to support the energy and infrastructure business sectors,” she told the magazine.

The special annual publication is produced by D CEO’s editors following six months of research and interviews. It recognizes the most prominent business leaders in more than 50 industry categories for their contributions to Dallas-Fort Worth’s economy. Courtney was selected for recognition in the “Law – Managing Partners” subcategory.

Courtney helps private equity firms, public and private companies, and other investors execute a wide variety of financial transactions. She has extensive experience with leveraged acquisition and recapitalization transactions, bridge and mezzanine financing, cash flow and asset-based lending, liability management transactions and corporate restructurings and workouts.

She also helps guide Weil’s efforts in diversity and pro bono service and serves on the Firm’s Management Committee.
