My relationship with the Firm has remained strong during my time away and it’s a testament to Weil’s culture that it maintains such excellent ties with its alumni. Rejoining a fantastic group of people and a market-leading funds practice in a firm with exceptional private capital credentials was a complete no-brainer and it’s great to be back! What has been the best surprise since your return? I’ve been hugely impressed by the level of collaboration – both within and between teams and across the different offices. Everyone is wholly focused on the success of the Firm as a whole and how to best serve our clients and grow relationships across the network. As part of the onboarding process I had discussions with a large number of partners from a variety of practices and offices and the level of buy-in to Weil’s collaborative culture, and how this forms the bedrock of its strategy, was compelling.
