Weiru Fang
Ms. Fang is an associate in the Business Finance & Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office. Ms. Fang’s practice includes corporate restructuring, distressed financing, and distressed M&A. Her experience includes advising debtors in out-of-court processes and in-court restructurings across a broad range of industries, including aviation, technology, and retail.

Ms. Fang received her J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School where she was a Honors Fellow for the Lawyering Program and served as a Notes Editor of the Cornell Law Review. Ms. Fang received her B.A. in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.

  • Fusion Connect, Inc., and its domestic subsidiaries, a telecommunications services provider, in their chapter 11 cases with liabilities in excess of $650 million.
  • Waypoint Leasing Holdings, Ltd., a global helicopter leasing company, in its chapter 11 cases.
