Some of Thaddeus’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- A private equity fund in a significant insurance coverage litigation in New York Supreme Court, and related international arbitration in connection with $400 million in stolen oil.
- A pharmaceuticals company in Federal Circuit and Supreme Court appeals relating to insulin formulations and insulin delivery devices.
- First-lien creditors of an energy services company in connection with its chapter 11 reorganization.
Thaddeus also has extensive experience in pro bono matters, specializing in immigration cases. Recently, he was a key member of a team that secured legal permanent residence for a Syrian antiquities expert.
Thaddeus received his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell University, where he was an editor of the Cornell Law Review. He received his B.S. in Economics and Geography from The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining Weil, he interned for the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
