Shawn Chi’s practice focuses on patent litigation involving a wide array of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, communications, software, and semiconductors. Shawn has experience in a wide manner of patent litigation matters in Federal District Courts, including district court briefs and motions, expert reports; performing invalidity and infringement analysis; and preparing expert witness for and assisting in depositions. Shawn also has extensive experience before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) having drafted numerous winning briefs before the Board.
Prior to law school, Shawn worked as a scientist researching cardiovascular disease, stem cell biology, genetics, and electrophysiology.
