Oliver Prakash-Jenkins is a foreign law professional in Weil’s Private Funds practice and is based in New York, having previously worked in the London office. He participates in advising managers on the marketing, raising and operation of private funds across a range of asset classes including buyout, real estate, infrastructure and debt, as well as on the structuring of their executive remuneration and co-investment arrangements. He also participates in advising institutional investors on the terms of their investment in private funds, buyers and sellers on secondary portfolio transactions, and management teams seeking to spin-out their business to an independent platform.
Oliver has been part of teams advising clients such as 8 Miles, aPriori Capital Partners, Aquiline Capital Partners, BC Partners, Brookfield Asset Management, Genstar Capital, Glennmont Partners and InfraRed Capital Partners.
Oliver was a member of the London office’s pro bono and charity committee and acts for pro bono clients on a regular basis. He has advised, amongst others, Bridges Ventures, a sustainable growth investment manager, on its investment in Auto22, an automotive service center offering disadvantaged young people opportunities to gain qualifications, skills and employment in car mechanics.
