Michael Tomback
Michael Tomback is an associate in Weil’s Business Finance & Restructuring Department. His practice includes representation of both debtors and creditors in all aspects of domestic and international corporate restructurings and refinancing. Mr. Tomback has experience working with teams in advising clients on both in- and out-of-court restructurings.

Mr. Tomback received his J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta Georgia, where he was Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science, with a minor in Cinema Studies, from the University of Pennsylvania.

From 2014-2016, Mr. Tomback was the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge Ronald H. Sargis of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Tomback was an associate at a restructuring boutique in New York City.
