Biography

Maya’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing a multinational pharmaceutical company in an arbitration with one of its partners that resolved on the eve of the arbitration hearing; a food and beverage company in a contract dispute with a distribution partner; and an international remote communications and information technology services provider in its contested chapter 11 litigation.
Maya also has an active pro bono practice, including serving on Weil teams representing and counseling pro bono clients on First Amendment, reproductive rights, supplemental security and disability, and U.S. residency issues.
Maya earned her J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law, where she served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Law & Politics. She graduated with her B.S., summa cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University.
