Maryam Naghavi is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Ms. Naghavi participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Ms. Naghavi has been part of the teams advising:
- Sanofi in its $25 billion exchange of Merial, its animal health business, for the consumer healthcare business of Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH
- Metaldyne Performance Group Inc. in its $3.3 billion sale to American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc.
- Tidewater Inc. in its $1.25 billion combination with GulfMark Offshore, Inc.
- RPC Group Plc in its acquisition of Letica Group and in the sale of the food service division assets of Letica to Graphic Packaging International, LLC
Ms. Naghavi received her LL.M from Boston University Law, her LL.M, cum laude, and LL.B from Université Paris 2 Panthèon-Assas, and her B.A., cum laude, from University of Tehran.
