Mr. Kramar is involved in a variety of transactions and cases involving both the public and private sector. Mr. Kramar represents Telefonica O2 Czech Republic in high value regulatory litigation cases, the Government of the Czech Republic in connection with major projects of transportation infrastructure, and CEZ, the Czech incumbent electricity generating company, in connection with supplies of coal to its power plants and related competition issues. He is also involved in numerous cases concerning the public service obligations in bus and railroad transportation and represents the governmental administration of the Odra River Basin in defense of flood damages claims in excess of USD 400 million.
Mr. Kramar joined Weil, Gotshal in 1998 and is a member of the Czech Bar Association. He received his law degree from the Charles University School of Law in Prague, Czech Republic, and subsequently he received also a master degree in law from the New York University School of Law. Mr. Kramar is a member of the Appellate Committee of the Czech Office for the Protection of Economic Competition.
