Liam Murphy is a Tax associate in Weil’s Tax, Executive Compensation & Benefits Department and is based in New York. He participates in the representation of public and private companies in connection with acquisitions, including taxable and tax-free transactions, investments, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, and debt and equity offerings.
Mr. Murphy received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, his M.A. in accounting from the University of Michigan, and his B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University.
