Leslie Roter is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust/Competition practice. Her practice focuses on regulatory approval of mergers and acquisitions, antitrust litigation, and antitrust compliance matters across a wide range of industries.
Prior to joining Weil, Ms. Roter served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Frederick H. Weisberg, Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She also served as Co-Director of the Domestic Violence Assistance Project. Her research and writing on human trafficking has been featured by the Pacific Sociological Association and the California Sociological Association.
Ms. Roter earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Law and Social Change. She earned her B.A., with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, where she co-founded the Berkeley Business Review. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section and has contributed to its Antitrust magazine. Ms. Roter is also an Associate Trustee for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee.
