Larkin Kuplic is a senior associate in Weil’s Securities Litigation practice, where she focuses on shareholder class and derivative litigation, internal investigations, and SEC and other regulatory investigations.

Ms. Kuplic’s notable recent experience includes working on Weil teams that have represented:

  • A major global investment bank in a number of regulatory investigations.
  • Signet Jewelers in a consolidated securities fraud class action in the Southern District of New York concerning alleged sexual harassment allegations that were raised in an employment arbitration, as well as purportedly lax credit standards.
  • Walgreens Boots Alliance and its senior executives in a securities class action in Pennsylvania federal court relating to statements the company made regarding the likelihood of FTC approval of Walgreens’ proposed merger with Rite Aid.
  • Genworth Financial Inc. and its senior executives in a securities class action in the Eastern District of Virginia relating to statements the company made regarding its long term care insurance policy reserves.

Ms. Kuplic also maintains an active pro bono practice, including work with Legal Services of New York City and the Innocence Project.

Ms. Kuplic obtained her B.A., magna cum laude, in government and Spanish from Georgetown University. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Journal of International Law, and published a note entitled, “Trying Terrorists: The Case for Expanding the Jurisdiction of Military Commissions to U.S. Citizens,” 44 Geo. J. Int'l L. 783 (2013).
