Katie Clemmons
Katie Clemmons is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice. She focuses on litigating contract, IP, restructuring, antitrust, and other matters in courts around the country, for companies and organizations across the industry spectrum, including e-commerce, consumer products, and sports.

Some of Katie’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:

  • A manufacturer of private label beauty and personal care products in connection with a dispute with a customer involving allegations of fraud and breach of contract.
  • A major online marketplace in defense of claims for copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and unfair competition in Massachusetts federal court.
  • The National Women’s Soccer League Players Association in a landmark investigation into alleged abuse, harassment, and misconduct in women’s soccer.

Katie also maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included work on immigration and reproductive rights matters.

Katie received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was the Senior Notes Editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board, and her B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Washington & Lee University. After law school she served as a law clerk to Hon. David A. Ezra of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

She is proficient in Spanish.
