Kaitlin E Paulson

Kaitlin Paulson is an associate in Weil’s Patent Litigation practice based in Silicon Valley.

Prior to joining Weil, Kaitlin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Evan J. Wallach of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  She also served as a Trial Attorney with the Appellate Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division, where she filed several briefs with the U.S. Supreme Court at the certiorari stage and litigated appeals before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First, Fifth, and Tenth Circuits, and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, where she personally conducted a federal jury trial.

Kaitlin received her B.A. from Yale University and her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served as an extern to the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and as an editor of the NYU Moot Court Board.
