Jonathan Goldsmith
Jon Goldsmith is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust/Competition group. His practice focuses on regulatory approval for mergers and acquisitions, civil antitrust litigation, and government investigations. He has worked on matters across a wide range of industries, including agriculture, mass media, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial technology, and business services.

Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Goldsmith served as a legal intern at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division where he assisted Division staff on cartel investigations. He also served as an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia in the General Crimes Section.

Mr. Goldsmith obtained his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Executive Senior Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Modern Critical Race Perspectives and studied at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London. He earned his B.S. in Economics from the College of William & Mary.
