Jonathan Gartner
Jonathan Gartner is an associate in Weil’s Employment Litigation practice group, where he focuses on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, ERISA, and restrictive covenants.

Mr. Gartner has served on teams representing employers in single plaintiff cases and class actions in both federal and state courts. He also performs diligence in the context of corporate transactions, drafts employment and separation agreements, and provides counseling on employment policies and workforce issues.

Mr. Gartner graduated from Cornell University in 2013, where he majored in Industrial and Labor Relations and earned placement on the Dean’s list all semesters. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2016, where he was president of the Jewish Law Students Association and served as a teaching assistant for “Sports and the Law.” For his service to the law school, Mr. Gartner received the Dean’s Award for Community Leadership at commencement. Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Gartner interned with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and Major League Baseball in their labor relations departments. He also interned in the legal departments at the National Basketball Association and the Brooklyn Nets/ Barclays Center.
