Jakub Rachwol is a legal advisor admitted to practice in Poland and a senior associate in the corporate department of the Warsaw office of Weil.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 2005 and qualified as a legal advisor in 2011. Jakub also holds a Ph.D. from the University of Johannes Gutenberg in Mainz, Germany. Prior to joining Weil in October 2018, he worked for leading Polish and international law firms.
A specialist in acquisition finance, corporate finance, project finance, banking and commercial law, he has significant experience acting for borrowers and lenders on domestic and cross-border finance transactions. He has also worked on numerous bond issues as well as factoring and restructuring projects.
He was singled out as one of the rising stars of the legal profession in a ranking published by a leading Polish daily, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, in 2013.
Jakub is fluent in English and German.
