Biography
Jack Parsons is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Jack participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Jack has been part of the teams advising:
- Avista Public Acquisition Corp. II, a SPAC sponsored by Avista Acquisition LP II (an affiliate of Avista Capital Holdings), in its pending $850 million business combination with OmniAb, Inc.
- Covetrus, Inc. in its $4 billion sale to CD&R, a holder of approximately 24% of Covetrus' outstanding common stock, and TPG
- Thea Pharma Inc. (a subsidiary of Laboratoires Théa SAS) in its acquisition of a portfolio of seven ophthalmic products from Akorn Pharmaceuticals
- Sanofi in its approximately $2.2 billion pending acquisition of Inhibrx, Inc.
Jack joined Weil as a summer associate in 2020.
Jack received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Boston College Law Review, and his B.A., cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross.
