She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in 2008 and completed legal advisor training in 2012. Prior to joining Weil in 2012, Irmina spent over three years working in the Department of Concentration Control at the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
A specialist in anti-trust and corporate law, Irmina has significant experience in Polish and European Union competition law matters, including those with regard to merger control, state aid, cartels and abuses of dominance, as well as Polish consumer law, including abusive clauses. She has also been involved in concentration proceedings before both the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the European Commission.
Her work includes advising companies from various industries, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, banking, transport, energy generation and distribution, real estate, food, and retail/wholesale operations.
