Filip Lesniak is an advocate admitted to practice in Poland and an associate in the corporate department of the Warsaw office of Weil.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2011 and also completed a course in US law at the Center for American Law Studies co-organised by the University of Warsaw and the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Prior to joining Weil in 2010, he completed internships in Polish and international law firms.
A specialist in civil law, securities law, commercial law and regulatory matters, Filip has worked on various M&A transactions, public offerings and accelerated bookbuilding processes, including transactions in the financial institutions sector. He advised issuers, selling shareholders and investment banks on all aspects of international and domestic public offerings and private placements of securities. He has also advised various institutions on regulatory matters and proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
