Elizabeth Barras

Elizabeth Barras is an associate in Weil’s Real Estate practice and is based in New York. Elizabeth participates in the representation of Firm clients with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for real estate related companies.

Elizabeth is very involved in the Firm’s pro bono initiatives. She continues to work on various matters with the Innocence Project and has represented pro bono clients in asylum and domestic violence matters.

Elizabeth joined Weil as a summer associate in 2020. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Elizabeth received her J.D., magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif, from Tulane University Law School, where she served as a Managing Editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and her B.A., cum laude, from Brandeis University.
