David advises on the full range of employment law issues, both non-contentious and contentious. His work often involves European and international aspects and he regularly co-ordinates local counsel across multiple jurisdictions. He has extensive experience advising on the employment aspects of a wide variety of private equity, M&A and outsourcing transactions (including TUPE and Acquired Rights Directive matters).
David’s contentious experience includes defending corporates, financial services institutions and public bodies from claims relating to whistleblowing, discrimination, equal pay and unfair dismissal. David has written extensively on employment law matters and his work has been published in a variety of publications.
David regularly advises on senior executive terminations, protection of confidential information and post-termination restrictions.
David previously worked in the employment department of a Magic Circle firm and has spent time on secondment in the legal team of a financial services institution.
