David Cohen is an associate in the Firm’s Structured Finance and Derivatives practice at the New York office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
His practice focuses on securitization and other structured financial products, including structuring rental car securitization platforms, auto loan securitizations, trade receivables securitizations, lease financings, personal loan securitizations, CLOs and CDOs. He also has extensive derivatives experience, including credit derivatives, interest rate swaps, forwards, puts and calls, both inside and outside the structured finance context.
David received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2008, where he served on The Tax Lawyer. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Rutgers College in 2004.
