Christopher Marotta is a Tax associate in Weil’s Tax, Executive Compensation & Benefits Department and is based in New York. Mr. Marotta participates in advising Firm clients with respect to the tax aspects of a wide range of corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Marotta was a senior international tax associate at KPMG LLP, where he advised private equity and corporate clients on structuring new and existing investments in overseas and domestic target companies.
Mr. Marotta was named a recipient of the Editors’ Prize by the American Bankruptcy Law Journal for his article titled “Examining Success” in 2017.
Mr. Marotta received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, his LL.M. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. from Bowdoin College.
