Jason Fu is an associate in the Restructuring Department of the Firm’s Hong Kong office. He advises in- and out-of-court corporate debt restructurings, distressed debt acquisitions, cross-border and international insolvencies. He has worked on US Chapter 11 reorganizations, restructuring and cross-border insolvency in New York, London and Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Weil, Jason worked on restructuring matters at leading international law firms in Hong Kong, New York and London. During his time in England, Jason lectured on bankruptcy and commercial law at several leading universities, and conducted research in related areas in the University of Oxford. He has widely published in academic journals.
