Biography

Brendan McGuire is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust/Competition practice where he focuses on government investigations and regulatory approval for mergers and acquisitions across a range of industries, including software/technology, travel, healthcare, and chemical manufacturing.
Brendan also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing a capital defendant in habeas corpus litigation. Prior to joining Weil, he interned for Judge Zuberi Williams of the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County.
Brendan received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor for the Alaska Law Review. He received his B.A., with departmental and general honors, in History from the University of Chicago.
