Biography

Bessie Tuo is a lawyer in the Structured Finance & Derivatives practice in London, advising on a range of structured finance transactions including portfolio acquisitions and financings, securitisations, CLOs, asset-based financings and OTC derivatives transactions. As part of a team, Bessie has represented a number of collateral managers and arrangers/underwriters in various domestic and international debt capital markets transactions.
Bessie has also undertaken a secondment to Weil’s New York office in the Structured Finance & Derivatives team.
Recent experience as part of a team includes advising:
- Bank of America as senior lender/arranger on a warehouse facility and European CLO transaction.
- BlackRock as collateral manager on numerous European CLO transactions.
- A portfolio company of a global investment firm on the private securitisation of equipment lease receivables guaranteed under the UK Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS).
- A major financial institution as senior loan noteholder on the private securitisation of point of sale receivables.
